ecs LiteCart Fan De Morocco Membro desde out 2024 ecs 19 out 2024 23:34 Hello guys! In my Website Search Results, under Arabic language, (If the product searched for doesn't exist in Catalog) I get this message instead of the query name: __ "نتائج البحث عن & quot ؛ ٪ s & quot ؛" لا توجد نتائج مطابقة but not when I change site language to English, instead I get this: "Search Results for "laptop" No matching results It's no big deal but it would be much better if it's fixed any suggestions? Thank you everyone!
tim Founder De Sweden Membro desde mai 2013 tim 20 out 2024 08:46 If this is related to the translations, they are available here for improvements: https://www.litecart.net/ar/translations/ There has also been addons published https://www.litecart.net/en/addons/?query=arabic
alielkhedr Developer De Egypt Membro desde mai 2022 alielkhedr 20 out 2024 14:45 The translation error is unfortunately caused by the currently available translation file. The reason is to use ٪. The correct way is to use %. I recommend a translation file available in the add-ons. https://www.litecart.net/en/addons/727/arabic-language
tim Founder De Sweden Membro desde mai 2013 tim 21 out 2024 00:33 Are you able to provide the correct translations here?: https://www.litecart.net/en/translations/edit?locale=ar-SA Also are there more arabic languages/dialects you would like to see in the list apart from Saudi Arabia?
ecs LiteCart Fan De Morocco Membro desde out 2024 ecs 21 out 2024 01:26 I understand that there are Arabic translation files available in the Addons section, (including the one submitted by Mr Ali Elkhedr which I am using, thank you Ali!) and I know that they're still under development. As a response to your question @tim: No, Saudi Arabia and / or Egypt are enough for most Arabic Countries, at least from my point of view as a Moroccan. As a response to your recommendation @alielkhedr: it was the one I've uploaded and made a small change in System Locale: en_US.utf8 instead of : ar_eg.utf8,ar_EG.UTF-8,arabic because it keeps showing error. My question is: Can I simply replace the ٪ character with % as suggested by you? If so, where should I make this change? Thank you for your help!
alielkhedr Developer De Egypt Membro desde mai 2022 alielkhedr 21 out 2024 14:56 Yes, with the utmost translation, search for the mark ٪, then repair the matter and adjust this "Ar_eg.utf8, ar_eg.utf-8, Arabic " When the Aribert response corresponds to it, it is great
ecs LiteCart Fan De Morocco Membro desde out 2024 ecs 22 out 2024 02:32 Dear Ali! I searched and changed the mark as you can see "نتائج البحث عن & quot ؛ % s & quot ؛" as a translation for "title_search_results_for_s" but when I tried to adjust the "en_US.utf8" with the one you suggested I get this error message "Ar_eg.utf8, ar_eg.utf-8, Arabic ليست لغة نظام صالحة على هذا الجهاز". So with that % change alone, the result is: نتائج البحث عن & quot ؛ laptop & quot ؛ لا توجد نتائج مطابقة The issue seems to be related to the way Arabic search terms are handled and displayed in search results. Specifically, the Arabic quote marks (& quot ؛) are appearing unexpectedly when searching for products that don't exist.
alielkhedr Developer De Egypt Membro desde mai 2022 alielkhedr 22 out 2024 07:51 You are right, but the matter, as I mentioned earlier, see the attached picture, and you have to set like it. Or re -download the language file again, the matter has been corrected https://www.litecart.net/ar/addons/727/arabic-language
ecs LiteCart Fan De Morocco Membro desde out 2024 ecs 22 out 2024 09:31 Dear Ali, Thank you for your guidance! I was able to resolve the issue. I went to the "translations" section, searched for "title_search_results_for_s," and copied the phrase ""%s"" from the English translation. I then pasted it into the Arabic translation box just after the words "نتائج البحث عن". This fixed the problem and now the search results are displayed correctly in Arabic. Thank you again for your help!
