litecart Main Crew Από Sweden Μέλος από Φεβ 2013 litecart 29 Ιαν 2015 14:12 Admin -> Appearance -> Logotype Make sure you empty your browswer cache. If that doesn't help try manually deleting the thumbnail cache files in litecart , see folder /cache.

tim Founder Από Sweden Μέλος από Μαΐ 2013 tim 30 Σεπ 2023 23:29 @sus This is not a normal behavior. What you can do is replace images/logotype.png via FTP and clear all thumbnail cache (Admin -> Settings -> Images). If PHP failed to replace the logotype there should be an error logged in logs/errors.log. Just to make sure browser cache is not the issue. Try visiting the site in incognito mode. Also if you use Cloudflare or some CDN, the image can be served from server cache.

tim Founder Από Sweden Μέλος από Μαΐ 2013 tim 7 Ιουλ 2024 15:57 There is nothing broken in the platform ability to upload and replace the logo. If it's not working for you it's related to something not right on your end. It could be invalid directory paths, invalid image binary data, missing image library components, directory permissions? Check logs/errors.log if there are any errors logged related to your uploaded file. Make sure that the image you see on the FTP images/logotype.png is the same as the one served on the web. To make sure it's not a CDN or proxy, or web server cache.
dk1233 Merchant Από Kenya Μέλος από Ιουλ 2024 dk1233 8 Ιουλ 2024 10:00 @tim I don't really understand what the issue is then, yesterday the site logo in the front end was fine. Today it reverted to the Litecart logo, I made sure I deleted every SVG Litecart logo from the files. Maybe you can tell me better what the problem is because even if I delete the cache, nothing happens and at this point, I don't understand what the issue is, then my logo only shows in the admin panel and stopped showing on the frontend side.
tim Founder Από Sweden Μέλος από Μαΐ 2013 tim 8 Ιουλ 2024 13:05 Maybe you can tell me better what the problem is I did not appreciate that. Isn't this what I am trying to do? You didn't even respond to answer any of the suggestions I gave you to address the cause. LiteCart have no restore functionality. Again, make sure that the image you see on the FTP images/logotype.png is the same as the one served on the web. To make sure it's not a CDN or proxy, or web server cache. And again, check your logs. I have seen similar issues with servers tunneling the apache process through an nginx proxy. That the nginx proxy served it's own outdated versions of content. That was related to a control panel named CyberPanel.
tommythejoat Merchant Από United States Μέλος από Αυγ 2024 tommythejoat 21 Σεπ 2024 05:20 I am having a similar problem with logotype. The logotype uploaded fine to the admin area but does not update the screen. I cleared the cache and turned off the caching in the admin under settings/advanced. I also used cpanel/file manager to delete the contents of the cache folder. When I do that it is refilled in about 15 seconds. Is there a timeout function on this forum facility. I spent about 2 hours working on this while capturing what I was seeing in an earlier attempt to post in this thread. You mentioned earlier in this thread that system caching could cause this problem. My system is installed on a reseller system on Knownhost that I own, so I can have their system support address any caching issues resulting from something they have installed. I am attaching the logotype.png file I am trying to use in place of the litecart example. I would appreciate any help I can get with this.
