herrimancoder LiteCart Fan From United States Member since mar. 2023 herrimancoder 18 oct. 2024 15:31 Ever since transferring my LiteCart installation to a new server, almost everything seems to work right, except the following: Although uploaded catalog pictures display in the admin interface, they don't display in the public catalog. Instead, all people see are the generic gray camera icons. When products are ordered, the QTY count is not decremented, so customers can order more than we have. I am running LiteCart 2.5.2. Please help. Thanks.

Make sure you give the necessary file permissions. Images can be affected by such problems. Edit stock settings for order statuses. Edit what to do for the stock in the order status you assign. this is available in your admin panel.

tim Founder From Sweden Member since mai 2013 tim 19 oct. 2024 20:44 Although uploaded catalog pictures display in the admin interface, they don't display in the public catalog. Instead, all people see are the generic gray camera icons. Just to cover the basics. Did you do step 3 in this article? https://www.litecart.net/en/wiki/how_to_move_the_platform A gray camera icon means it failed to detect an image in place which could be path related. When products are ordered, the QTY count is not decremented, so customers can order more than we have. Order status must be set to withdraw stock. If can't work out the problem with images, create an support ticket for me to make sure this is not a platform error from some server anomaly. You are entitled to create a support ticket. herrimancoder LiteCart Fan From United States Member since mar. 2023 herrimancoder 17 nov. 2024 23:31 Tim, Sorry it took me so long to get back to this. We had to scramble and (temporarily) use a different system for awhile, but would love to get back to being able to use this LC site. I carefully reviewed your previous post and I think I had already followed all steps. Yes, .htaccess and config look correct to me. I can send those to you if you want. I can't find how/where to set order status to withdraw stock. Pls advise. I'll open a ticket. Thanks!
herrimancoder LiteCart Fan From United States Member since mar. 2023 herrimancoder 22 nov. 2024 14:51 Tim, The photos are showing up now, I don't know what changed or what happened. But product quantities don't automatically decrement when sales are made. How can I fix that? Thank you.
tim Founder From Sweden Member since mai 2013 tim 22 nov. 2024 15:03 Quantities are withdrawn if an order changes order status to one that is set to withdraw stock.
herrimancoder LiteCart Fan From United States Member since mar. 2023 herrimancoder 22 nov. 2024 15:07 I can't find how to get to the "withdraw stock" setting. Also, Edit Order Status seems like making a change to a specific order, but that seems odd. You're not saying we have to go edit every order just to get this decrement behavior, right?
tim Founder From Sweden Member since mai 2013 tim 3 dec. 2024 09:58 It's under edit Admin -> Orders -> Order Statuses -> Edit Order Status. Orders that are already parked using the order status will not be affected by the changed setting for Stock Action. So you will therefore need to park them with a different status while you change the one intended.
