fritz Developer Fra Italy Medlem siden apr. 2019 fritz feb. 16 2024 06:25 p.m. I'm asking what format I need to use for best compatibility with Google Shopping because the setting I've made seems to be producing errors. These are the parameters I set: Coding detected: UTF-8 Delimiter detected:Tab (\t) File name: https://rausch.it/feeds/google_shopping.csv This the error from Google Shopping: title: Invalid or missing required attribute: offer_type description: Verifies that all required attributes are valid and included in the data feed. severity: ERROR attributeName: n:display_unit_type count: 36 parameters: Line number examples: { entries: 2 } examples: { entries: 3 } examples: { entries: 4 } examples: { entries: 5 } examples: { entries: 6 } learnMoreUrl: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/1344057 code: 401 Thank you for a clarification that can help me get this feed properly picked up by Google.

A title is a title, yet they are asking for offer_type in the title.
description: Verifies that all required attributes are valid and included in the data feed.
The Google documentation states: [ul] [li]Accurately describe your product and match the description from your landing page.[/li] [li]Don’t include promotional text like "free shipping," all capital letters, or gimmicky foreign characters.[/li] [li]Include only information about the product. Don’t include links to your store, sales information, details about competitors, other products, or accessories.[/li] [li]Use formatting (for example, line breaks, lists, or italics) to format your description.[/li] [/ul]
severity: ERROR attributeName: n:display_unit_type count: 36 parameters: Line number examples: { entries: 2 } examples: { entries: 3 } examples: { entries: 4 } examples: { entries: 5 } examples: { entries: 6 } learnMoreUrl: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/1344057 code: 401
Even more cryptic. I have no idea.

The new Google Merchant Center (Business Manager) may have changed its parameters. I can't understand it either and it seems to me that everything should be fine with UTF-8 and tab spacing. It should also be said that for some time now I have been encountering error messages from Google that are clearly aimed at contacting their commercial service. At least that's my impression.

Unfortunately, the file was not processed because its format is not supported. As a result your product data has not been updated. Check the file format for problems and try uploading it again. Visit https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/188476 to view the complete list of file formats supported by Google Merchant Center. The Google Merchant Center team This email was computer generated. Do not answer.
I hope you can find something in this article to help you create your feed correctly for Google.
tim Founder Fra Sweden Medlem siden mai 2013 tim mar. 26 2024 07:35 p.m. I have looked at your feed and it's a correctly tab limited CSV format. It does not contain "offer_type" or "display_unit_type" if that is what needs to be added? If this is something you added to merchant center you need to set it up in the feed. There is no mentioning of this in the docs: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7052112?hl=en#basic_product_data Kindly ask Google again for the right documentation concerning "offer_type" and "display_unit_type".
