Physical Memory Usage in cPanel

Hi everyone,

Just wondering, how much Physical Memory Usage in cPanel is normal for using litecart. Is this normal ?

About 3-5 Mb. When you have images to resample into thumbnails maybe a rise to 20-30 Mb depending on the resolution.

This is so frustrating, after upgrading my hosting plan, Physical Memory Usage keep reaching at peak .. Before upgrading, it is fine.. I wonder what is causing it to be peak :-(

Maybe your new hosting has an auto backup that backup also the backup... think that also email accounts contents are part of disk usage

@vilaiporn I had disable all vqmod, put site to maintenance mode, deleted all email inbox, clear cache, clear system cache, delete  backup, disable auto backup, submit a ticket and get a reply stating that website have too many visitors and spam, checked on it and that is not the case, nothing works.. it is just so annoying seeing the Physical Memory Usage at peak everytime i go into cpanel..

You probably have a memory leak in a server component. Try setting another PHP version. Sometimes new PHP versions have memory flaws. There are only two processes running. See which they are by going to Terminal and typing ps x.

@jsl Sorry I confused disk usage with Physical memory usage. I can confirm my physical memory usage it is very low, we are talking about 20MB top.

@tim I had changed php ver to 7.3 , 7.2 and lower and my website wont work, Clear Thumbnails Cache and Physical Memory usage drop to 1.94gb, then clear cache from file manager and PMU drop to 1.05gb. let it run for a few hours and PMU is back to peak

Thumbnails cache don't use ram, they use disk.
Litecart should roll even down to PHP 5.4.

Is this a VPS or shared webhost? If you disable your website completely does it still use that much RAM?

I am using a shared webhost.. and i disable everything in my website and RAM is still at peak, yesterday it dropped to 2.53gb.. I think so that server RAM is shared in cluster.. however even RAM is at peak, i face no lagging and litecart is still fast..

If you don't get any help from your webhost it is time to move to someone that does.
